Francophonie Summit, Dakar, Senegal, November 29-30, 2014

Francophonie Summit, Dakar, November 2014. CIPINA participated in the summit by presenting its activities alongside several NGOs from the French-speaking world. The enthusiasm for CIPINA is such that we will soon open several representations in Africa. This summit was an opportunity for us to present to the authorities of the French-speaking world the recommendations from our symposium last October on peace and economic development in Africa. It was also an opportunity to establish very interesting contacts with the media of the French-speaking world and to register the support of hundreds of young Africans. We paid an unforgettable tribute to President Abdou Diouf and welcomed the election of his successor, Ms. Michaelle Jean . We would like to highlight the excellent quality of the organization of this summit and we are already looking forward to the next one which will take place in Madagascar in 2016. A huge thank you to our local staff, headed by Bineta , who spared no effort to animate our stand every day, from morning to night, for a week. Thanks also to the Senegalese media for covering our activities, with a special mention to our friend Michaël Soumah , from RTS (Radio Télévision du Sénégal).
