CIPINA / Nos engagements
Jeunes et développement
Young people are essential partners in Africa’s development. Through its African Youth Strategy, CIPINA seeks to collaborate with local and international partners, particularly institutions and associations focused on youth in general, and African youth in particular. The objective of this collaboration is to enable young African women and men or those of African origin to lead change in their countries and communities .

Through its youth strategy, CIPINA aims to promote civic engagement among young Africans and innovation as a means of empowering them to contribute to peace and development in Africa and around the world, to help them successfully transition from school to the workplace, and to counter violence.
The role played by African youth must be highlighted because young people are an essential partner in development and peace . To enable African youth to benefit from all the trust and respect they deserve, CIPINA will work to:
-
Strengthen knowledge and promote research on issues relating to youth in Africa.
-
Define common strategic objectives with its partners and the means to achieve them
-
Encourage the development of policies and structures, in accordance with the provisions of the African Youth Charter, to address issues relating to youth in Africa.
-
Promote youth participation in decision-making, youth civic engagement and social inclusion.
CIPINA’s approach can only be successful if it is carried out in concert with several partners. Therefore, CIPINA calls on all potential partners to work together to establish an effective strategy for African youth, so that actions are coherent and relevant.
