Benefits of being a member of CIPINA

Join in promoting the Image of a New Africa

Members of the Centre d’Information et de Promotion de l’Image d’une Nouvelle Afrique (CIPINA) are invited to  actively support  the Association by using their varied skills. In this way, they maintain the vigor and dynamism of CIPINA, while  finding there a  place of expertise ,  reflection ,  exchanges ,  training and collaboration . In addition to  contributing to the influence of Africa , members have the opportunity to  position themselves with migration and integration authorities , Swiss municipal, cantonal and federal authorities, governments and other important international decision-makers.

CIPINA offers a place for discussion that encourages reflection on issues that mobilize Africans and supporters of Africa from diverse backgrounds and  who share the same concerns . Whether they are students, diplomats, businessmen, athletes, artists, communicators, researchers, speakers, citizens or corporations,  CIPINA members are all committed to promoting the image of a new Africa, one that wins . Make promoting the African continent your priority too and become a member of CIPINA.

If you want to get involved and share your ideas with us, whether as an individual or corporate member, then become a member of CIPINA.

Some excellent reasons to become a member of CIPINA

We will contribute to the promotion and improvement of the situation of our members by:

  • Actively defending various public interest issues. We intervened in the issue of access to apprenticeship places for young people without papers in Lausanne, the initiative on minarets, the initiative on the right to vote for foreigners at the Vaud cantonal level, among others.

  • Sponsoring them with our institutional and private partners for any request for subsidies or various services

  • Informing the population through our actions on the ground and by granting numerous interviews to the media.

  • Writing articles published on national and international websites.

We also intend to contribute to the satisfaction of our members by:

  • Periodically producing the New Africa Bulletin

  • Offering them discounts on our paid artistic and cultural events

  • Awarding each year a recognition prize which aims to recognize the excellence and positive impact, in their environment, of projects related to the promotion of the image of Africa

  • Presenting annual lectures on African Unity Day (May 25), International Migrants Day (December 18), African Youth Day (November 1), African Women’s Day (July 31)
