The Centre for Information and Promotion of the Image of a New Africa (CIPINA) is a strategic meeting place for Africans established in Switzerland and the rest of the world. It is a place for broad consultations on African and global socio-economic and cultural development policies . CIPINA is both a vision and a socio-economic-political-cultural framework for the new African elite responsible for leading the continent towards development. CIPINA aims to be a centre of excellence that provides advice and proposals to the Lausanne, Vaud and Swiss authorities on the integration of foreigners, Africans in particular, and the Swiss-African partnership. It also aims to be a radical response to the new African leaders , who must be uninhibited and concerned about the well-being of their people, in order to respond to the critical challenges facing the continent: poverty, poor governance, ethnic and tribal conflicts, education, health, among others. These scourges have the immediate consequence of the marginalization of Africa at the international level. To give another image of Africa, that of the New Africa, CIPINA proposes to provide its expertise on the management of projects related to the following thematic areas:
