New Africa

One vision

CIPINA works for a world where dignity is ensured by and for all, women, men and children, through living together, tolerance, respect for cultural diversity and human rights. These factors are essential to human development.

One mission

The association is a development and cooperation organization whose purpose is to advance the cause of African populations or those of African origin established in Switzerland. CIPINA works primarily for cohabitation between peoples and fights against all forms of stigmatization and intolerance, particularly against African populations or those of African origin. The association campaigns, in general, for all vulnerable populations whose fundamental right to fair and quality treatment is jeopardized or not applied, in order to allow these populations to live in dignity and ensure their future and sustainability. The association acts primarily in Switzerland but also wherever it deems it necessary and feasible. To this end, CIPINA raises public awareness, particularly through sponsorship, partnership, networking, the organization of multifaceted projects, and large-scale communication. It contributes to supporting a broad movement for the promotion of the image of a new Africa and acts on all factors that have an impact on the image of Africa.

Values

Our commitment and our actions are based on the values of freedom, respect, solidarity, equity, integrity and tolerance. We share them with all the women and men who make up the association and more generally with all our partners.

Commitments

Free from any political and religious affiliation, we, responsible members and solidarity members, commit to:

  • To act for the respect of African nationals in Switzerland and elsewhere and to give a positive image of Africa, whatever the circumstances.
